Judging

The L9 World Label Awards Competition aims to:

Judging of the L9 World Label Awards normally takes place in September prior to a Labelexpo exhibition (now called LOUPE). Each association selects entries for the L9 WLA from the nominated or winning entries of their own national competition. The panel of judges, consisting of one representative of each of the participating L9 members, selects the winners and honourable mentions for each of the 24 categories. In case of insufficient quality or volume per entries per category, the judges may decide not to select a winner in that category.

For each of the 5 main printing technologies:

• Flexographic Printing
• Letterpress Printing
• Offset Printing
• Combination Printing
• Digital Printing

a Best of the Best’ winner shall be selected.
